Coronavirus pandemic has been the main issue trough out the globe in the past couple of months. It also affected the sport of Cricket. Almost all the cricket fixtures have been canceled or postponed due to the concern of Coronavirus, including IPL.
But Cricket Australia is looking forward to holding the men’s T20 world cup as scheduled. Australia has reported confirmed 500 cases of Coronavirus and three deaths.
Australia Cricket is hoping to have a full house at MCG for the final of the T20 world cup as the pandemic wear off.
“We’re really hoping that all forms of sport can be played again in a few weeks’ or a few months’ time”
“None of us are experts in this situation obviously, so our hope is that we’re back in very much normal circumstances come October and November when the men’s T20 World Cup is to be played.” Cricket Australia Chief said.
The T20 world cup is scheduled to held in Seven Venues across Australia.
