Former Sri Lankan left-handed batsman Kumar Sangakkara has moved into self-isolation after returning from London.
Sangakkara decided to move into self-isolation even though he is not showing any symptoms of corona infection.
“I arrived from London over a week ago and the first thing was there was a news bulletin saying that anyone who had traveled from within March 1 to 15 should register themselves with the police and undergo self-quarantine. I registered myself with the police.” Sangakkara said, addressing media.
There are several cases of returnees trying to hide from the authorities and ending up spreading the COVID-19. Kumar’s decision & also Roshan Mahanamas’ decision to isolate themselves has been praised by the people under these circumstances.
